Open Source Hardware Collaboration Survey - how people work together to design open source products
Dear contributors to the open source hardware community,
We are currently running a survey to better understand how product development in open source communities works.
The target group of this survey are people who are active in open source hardware projects, without any requirement on their level of involvement. The answers to this survey should allow us to better understand why some projects succeed in creating momentum and building lively projects while others face more difficulties.
In order to support our research, it would be great if we could get as many responses as possible from OSH folks to participate in this survey and forward it within your projects or extended community.
The questionnaire takes about 15 minutes and is available here: survey link.
We thank you very much in advance for your valuable support!
In case of any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us email link.

Update 9.11.2017: Following unexpected issues with the server we used for the survey, the survey will be extended until the 14th of December 2017. That means it will be up for 4 weeks more. We also still need more people to take part to reach a statistical significance. If you have not already shared our request for participation in your project, we would greatly appreciate it if you could please do so.
Update 18.12.2017: In order to allow further participation, the survey will be extended until the 14th of January 2017.
Update 29.01.2017: This survey will stay online and serve as a reference point. Further submissions are welcome and appreciated.
